“The River Of Doubt” is the first song introducing the album “Change”. There is an echo of “Joshua Tree” in this tune, without the urgence that characterises the epic album of the legendary band from Dublin. This song is taken from the name of a real tributary of the Amazon river, in South America, precisely in Brazil, and discovered in its entirety by Theodore Roosevelt in the early XXth century. The name has since been changed into Roosevelt river. The former president almost lost his life over this journey of three month through the inhospitable region.
